Children are at the centre of what we do.
Our mission is to help children develop confidence in their own personalities while deepening their curiosity and understanding of the world around them. We see our school as an extension of the home and work to ensure that our parents receive regular feedback and are part of the journey.
We focus on using various forms of guided and free play aimed at interactive learning while nurturing problem-solving abilities and independent thinking.
At Childsplay ELC we understand that each little one is different and learns in different ways. We ensure that our qualified teachers use a variety of teaching styles to cater for the variety of learning styles amongst all children.
We strive to create a welcoming learning environment for all of our little ones, which ensures that each part of their day is an educational experience.

We welcome little ones from 12 months old until 5 years old.
OPERATING
HOURS
We open at 06h30 in the mornings and close at 18h00 in the evenings. Friday’s we close at 17h30.
QUALIFIED TEACHERS
All our teachers are ECD qualified and experienced.

Our preschools remain open during school holidays
First-aid officers on-site
Children run, play, and climb with enthusiasm, which can sometimes lead to minor bumps. That’s why our teachers are trained in paediatric first aid.
On-site kitchens
We prepare fresh, on-site meals daily, delivered to classrooms and included in the fees. Allergies and dietary needs are accommodated.

Curriculum
Here at childsplay ELC we have developed our own programme, designed with the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs) in mind. This approach to early childhood development aims to stimulate physical, social, emotional and cognitive well-being through developmental activities and engaging play areas. ELDAs focus on aspects such as gross motor development, fine motor development, social awareness, communication, spatial awareness and arts. Our small class sizes, carefully designed playgrounds, safety measures and daily programmes make our preschools a safe and fun-filled home away from home.
